Leo Heremans "My Foundation Birds"

The New Beginning of Leo Heremans Racing Pigeons was introduced into D&M Racing Pigeon Loft in Hawaii on May 16 2015. Purchased from a well known racing pigeon fancier; Frank McLaughlin's of Mclaughlins Loft located in Hanson, Massachusetts on 29 April 2015. Both of these birds have gone through strick quarantine guidelines according to the live bird shipping regulations. Proper vaccinations and medications were given to these racers. Both of these racers also needed to be examined and cleared by a Veternarian and cleared for shipping .

These two racing pigeons 1909 Hen along with 1716 Cock both Blue Bars has an amazing pedigree line and will be D&M's Racing Pigeon foundation birds that will be bred in D&M Racing Pigeon Loft to enhance the competetion stock of racing pigeons needed to perform well in the Hawaii Islands climate.

 These pairs quickly got climatized inside of my loft and in no  time paired and had their first pair of eggs. Within 18+ days their two squabs late hatch on 13 June 2015 hatched. The Leo Heremans line will be the new beginning of my racing  pigeon line.

Added to this post is a pick of my Leo Heremans Squabs 3 days old and 6 days old.

As you can see at 12 days old they are already showing a splash with black bar characteristics. I'll be taking another photo of these two Leo Heremans youngsters at around 17 days old. (see pictures below).
